Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of RemoveMyTracks. If you do not agree, do not use the service. This is not legal advice and we are not your law firm.
The service
You give us identity details and a signed Limited Power of Attorney. We send deletion and opt-out requests to companies in our catalog (and any you add) that accept email requests, then track replies. We do not claim to reach every company on earth. Large platforms that only take web forms or logins are usually outside the automated bundle. You may still need to tap a confirmation link a few times a year.
We never market the product as “100% automated.” Vendors can ignore a request, demand a portal, or close a ticket. We show you what actually happened.
Your promises
- You are the person whose data is being requested, or you have legal authority to act for them.
- The information you give us is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You will not use the service to harass, impersonate, or request someone else's records without authority.
- You will not try to overwhelm the system (mass fake accounts, scraping, or abuse of send limits).
Authorized agent
By signing the Limited Power of Attorney during onboarding, you appoint RemoveMyTracks as your authorized agent to submit privacy requests under applicable US and EU privacy laws. You can revoke that by deleting your account. Revocation does not unsend requests already delivered.
Plans and payment
Paid plans (Soft Ghost, Hard Block, Witness Protection) are billed by Stripe when billing is enabled. Until then, friends-and-family access may be complimentary. When Stripe is live, you can cancel in Profile via the billing portal. Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it. If a payment fails, we may pause new sends.
Proof, not vibes
Status on the dashboard is tied to real vendor email and your own self-reports. A “confirmed” count means a vendor replied that they deleted you, hold no record, or you told us you finished a form. It is not a warranty that every copy of your data on earth is gone.
Acceptable use
One person (or household, on plans that allow it) per account. No reselling access. No uploading malware. We may suspend accounts that abuse vendor inboxes or our infrastructure.
Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” We do not warrant that every vendor will comply, that email will be delivered, or that a particular law applies to you. Arizona and other states without a comprehensive privacy statute still receive good-faith requests; vendors may decline.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, RemoveMyTracks is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for a vendor's failure to honor a request. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Account deletion
You can delete your account from Profile. That removes our copy of your data. It does not delete data already in a vendor's systems — that is the point of the outbound requests.
